Job Description

As a Venue Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and assisting in executing events hosted at our venue. You will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure that events meet the client's expectations and are executed seamlessly.

Requirements

Requirements & Essential Functions:

  • Manage the incoming event leads, mainly those involving corporate team-building events.
  • Work with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the planning process.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns.
  • Serve as day-of coordinator for various events as assigned by the Venue Events team.
  • Assist with administrative duties as assigned by the Venue Events team.
  • Assist with planning and execution of COTA in-house meetings + events.
  • Coordinate and host site visits with Venue Events team.
  • Assist with on-site management of Fan Engagement activations during major races.
  • Full-time, onsite position.

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to make timely and sound decisions.
  • Exemplify strong organizational skills with ability to problem solve and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a service-oriented mindset and great attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in event planning or event operations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed for event schedules and extended hours during events (18-20 hours per day) in any weather elements.

Physical Demand & Work Environments

  • Ability to stand, sit, use of hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to squat, bend, twist, push/pull.
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
  • Work in extreme environments outdoors throughout the year.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud during events.
