Job Title: Variable Data Processor I (on-site)

Position Summary

The Variable Data Processor I is responsible for processing data as it is received, using data merge programs to apply data to variable templates, posting proofs for client review and preparing return files for the client.

  • Develop and process variable data templates in FusionPro software.
  • Applies variable data to templates in FusionPro according to data processing guidelines.
  • Attends various project launch meetings, as needed.
  • Writes and manages JavaScript rules within FusionPro software.
  • Creates workflow procedures for FusionPro.
  • Stores completed documents in appropriate locations.
  • Process and deliver final composed files to clients based on client specific specifications.
  • Process and compose files for archiving and proper storage based on HIPAA/HITECH/PHI regulations.
  • Prints proofs as needed to determine that address block fits appropriately within envelope window according to USPS guidelines.
  • Locate and correct data entry errors or report them to supervisors.
  • Maintain logs of activities and completed work.
  • Scan physical Health Records and deliver to client electronically.
  • Use internally developed systems to track and manage workload.
  • Carefully observe job requirements, deadlines, and operation schedules while following department guidelines.
  • Work closely with client support/sales/project managers obtaining necessary approvals prior to production runs.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work as a team player, willing to contribute in areas outside job description when appropriate.
  • Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
  • Responsible for following safety procedures in the plant including, but not limited to, Lock- out-tag-out, Hazard Communication, OSHA rules and regulations, and injury reporting.
  • Maintains the highest level of security and confidentiality as defined by company policy.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations, Printing & Mailing and/or President / CEO.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma and three to six months related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred experience working in Fusion Pro program.
  • Computer Literate. Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat experience strongly preferred.
  • Graphcom required trainings.
  • Complete all required training courses upon hire and annually thereafter.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Exclusion from the System for Award Management (SAM) List of Excluded Individuals and Entities (LEIE) prior to hire and ongoing throughout their tenure at the company. Inclusion in the LEIE is grounds for immediate dismissal.
