Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented Training and Planning Specialist to spearhead the implementation of cutting-edge training initiatives within our organization. In this role, you will evaluate existing training frameworks, design innovative programs, establish assessment metrics, and deliver constructive feedback. Additionally, you will conduct thorough research to identify targeted staff development requirements.

This position requires on-site presence within a warehouse setting 5 days a week. Responsibilities include overseeing training for warehouse associates ranging from levels 1 to 4, encompassing roles such as pickers, packers, auditors, drivers, and more.

The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency in training methodologies, coupled with exceptional teamwork skills. A successful Training and Development Specialist will adeptly identify organizational needs and tailor bespoke training solutions to drive enhanced productivity.

First shift 7:30am - 4:00pm

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

  • Designing and administering training programs.
  • Providing expertise in development design.
  • Identifying training needs and providing recommendations on programs and activities.
  • Plans and coordinates training schedules with staff and Operations Leaders.
  • Uses data and analytics to review overall training gaps and needs within the workforce.
  • Forecasts for training needs based on temporary workforce turnover in partnership with Planning leader.
  • Guiding managers and supervisors in developing training skills.
  • Develops training program initiatives.
  • Conducts trainings as needed.
  • Maintaining records and provides management with feedback.
  • Reach out to external subject matter experts as needed.
  • Assign trainers and educators to specific programs, provide them with the necessary training, and supervise their activities to ensure flawless implementation of all learning initiatives.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • 3-5 years of training or planning experience
  • Knowledge of training methodologies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong teamwork abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of staff learning and assessment protocol
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Certified Professional in training management is a plus but not required

LVMH Inc. uses the published salary range as a guideline to provide our employees with market competitive pay while allowing for flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of expertise, performance and tenure.

While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, LVMH Inc. reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range of $60,000.00 - $70,000.00.
