Part of the Interparfums group founded in 1982, Interparfums USA develops, manufactures and distributes prestige perfumes and cosmetics as the exclusive worldwide licensee for Abercrombie & Fitch, Anna Sui, DKNY, Donna Karan, Graff, GUESS, Hollister, MCM, Oscar de la Renta, Roberto Cavalli, Salvatore Ferragamo and Ungaro. Through its global distribution network, the Company’s products are sold in over 120 countries.


Our growing company is looking for a Trade Marketing Manager North America who will report directly to the Regional Marketing Director Americas.


Job duties:

  • Define cross-functional 360 brand engagement strategy, overseeing a calendar of product launches
  • Manage development of marketing plans including analysis of market share and sell out data reporting
  • Develop overarching communications strategy that sets key performance goals (Branding / Traffic / Conversion / Retention) and delivers the right balance of paid, owned, and earned traffic with positioning and messaging
  • Collaborate with partners to develop and implement integrated marketing plans that support brand objectives with focus on digital, traditional media and client facing activities including direct collaboration with distributors in the U.S. and Canada
  • Track product forecasts and liaise with the global operational marketing team and the sales department to ensure successful launches and product availability
  • Manage annual media budget from planning to invoicing including strategy allocation of resources. Monitor and challenge marketing/media budgets and spend by country
  • Analyze market trends and gather customer and consumer-insights to propose new ideas and drive sales
  • Develop US COOP digital and in-store ideas & facilitate their implementation in collaboration with internal & external cross-functional teams including in-store visual weeks, events and media activations
  • Coordinate and handle market specific requests for distributors/US retailers: - presentations - new products sheets - merchandising - visual requests - assets
  • Develop Regional Merchandising guidelines adapted to the relevant markets
  • Update Americas Marketing Launch Plans & Global Marketing Activity Reports (monthly), analyze results and provide the team with comments and action plan
  • Liaise with OPM and PR/Training Team to provide US retailers and distributors in time with new & adapted Social Media/Digital and Training assets including attendance
  • Support the Trade Marketing Director Americas


Required Skills:

  • Able to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Strong structured and organizational skills (tight deadlines to manage)
  • Proficient at sales analysis, business planning and execution
  • Self-motivation combined with a team player spirit
  • Positive, professional, and enthusiastic “can-do” attitude
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with the sales, marketing teams and other departments
  • Computer and analytical skills: Excellent Excel/Powerpoint capabilities, Adobe Suite knowledge; Circana DecisionKey NPD platform (New Product Development),
  • Strong interest in luxury products and the Perfume & Cosmetics industry
  • Travel: 30% of the time U.S. domestic travel or about 10 days per month and 1 international travel in September in Europe for the Annual Company Seminar


Required Degrees and Experience:

  • Degree requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Management or related field
  • Years of experience: 6 months
  • Field of experience: Trade operational marketing in beauty industry
  • Licenses: not applicable
