Job Summary:


At Force of Nature, we promise a different breed of marketing support, and you’ll craft and deliver this on a national scale. As a Trade Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand's retail and shopper marketing strategies, in addition to our broader trade relations. Your primary focus will be on enhancing brand presence and driving sales through innovative trade marketing initiatives in retail channels.


Key Responsibilities:


Trade and Retail Marketing Strategy:

Develop and implement comprehensive trade marketing strategies that effectively integrate with our retail and shopper marketing goals. Collaborate with retail partners to create and execute impactful in-store and digital promotions and shopper marketing campaigns.


Shopper Marketing Insights:


Leverage consumer insights to drive effective shopper marketing strategies that enhance customer experience and brand loyalty at the retail level. Keep abreast of evolving shopper trends and behaviors to inform marketing strategies.


Collaboration with Sales and Marketing Teams:


Ensure alignment of trade marketing activities with the broader sales and marketing objectives of the company. Work closely with the marketing team to craft retail-specific promotional materials and shopper marketing initiatives.


Retail Partnership Management:


Forge strong relationships with key retail partners, negotiating prime positioning and promotional opportunities. Manage and optimize retail partner programs, including co-marketing efforts, joint promotions, and exclusive deals.


Trade Promotions and Retail Events:


Own all planning and execution of trade promotions, shows and retail marketing events to drive brand awareness and sales. Analyze the effectiveness of activities and make data-driven adjustments. Scale the national demo program with a goal of maintaining a positive ROI.


Budget and Resource Management:


Oversee the trade marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources for maximum impact. Monitor expenses and measure ROI of trade marketing and shopper marketing initiatives.


Reporting and Market Analysis:


Regularly report on trade marketing activities, providing insights into market trends, retail dynamics, and competitor activities. Utilize data analytics to refine and optimize trade and shopper marketing strategies. Other Duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in trade marketing, preferably in the food or meat industry. Experience planning and executing multichannel campaigns. Experience project managing and executing major trade shows and events. Strong understanding of the retail landscape and consumer behavior.

Experience successfully running trade shows and retail events. Excellent communication, negotiation, project management, and relationship management skills. Proficient in data analysis and budget management.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
