Position Summary:
CEI is seeking Visual Art Teaching Artists for work in the 2023-24 school year in-person in NYC schools. Candidates must (1) have experience teaching a wide variety of art forms including mural making; (2) be willing to travel within NYC's five boroughs; (3) have experience teaching diverse student populations including students with disabilities; and (4) have strong classroom management skills.

Rate: $350/Full day

Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years’ experience working as a teaching artist
- Experience working with K-12 NYC Public Schools
- Experience teaching during the school day and after school
- Experience creating arts-integrated lessons that teach academic content
- Fingerprinted with NYCDOE (preferred)
- Proficient in Google Docs, Slides and Drive
- Strong classroom management skills
- Strong communication skills
Rate: $350/Full day
