Reopening Your Account

Last updated: 1 year ago
In most cases we can reopen your account if it's been closed less than 14 days. We're unable to reopen accounts closed for more than 14 days.
You can reopen your account directly by attempting to log into your LinkedIn account or utilizing the link provided in the original account closure email from desktop or your mobile device.
To reopen your account:
  1. On the login page, enter the email address that is registered to your LinkedIn account, enter your password, and click Sign In. You can also click the link received in the original account closure email. If the link does not work, you will be redirected to the login page.
  2. Click Reactivate to initiate this process. We'll send you an email where you can confirm that you'd like to reopen your account.
When reopening an account, you'll get access to all your connections. But we're unable to recover:
  • Group memberships
  • Followings (Top Voices, Companies, etc.)

  • Ignored and pending invitations
  • Endorsements and recommendations
