Throughout LinkedIn, you may be asked for feedback on your experience, including with new and existing product features. For example, after you interact with a feature (e.g., our search bar or an AI-powered experience), you may be able to choose a thumbs up or down, which may be followed by more detailed feedback choices (e.g., “this feature was inaccurate”) or an open text field for feedback.
- What we store with your feedback: The information we store with your feedback will vary by feature. Generally, when you provide feedback on a feature, we will store your feedback, an identifier tying the feedback to you, and information associated with the feature at the time you provided the feedback. For example, if you use our AI-Powered Writing Assistant for Profile and provide feedback on the suggested additions to your profile, we may store: our suggested additions, the inputs used to generate the suggested additions (your profile information), your feedback (e.g., up or down thumb, your statement that “the suggestions didn’t fit my past experience”), and an identifier for your LinkedIn account.
- How we use your feedback: As set out in the LinkedIn Privacy Policy and User Agreement, we may use your feedback and the associated data to improve the LinkedIn service, including the feature through which you provided the feedback.
- Who can see your feedback: Your feedback may be periodically reviewed by the LinkedIn team, as appropriate to fulfill their job duties of improving and troubleshooting the feature and the LinkedIn platform.
- How we retain your feedback: Generally, we may retain your feedback so long as keep your account open, as further detailed in the LinkedIn Privacy Policy.

- If you provide feedback in an open text field (i.e., type your own feedback in a form to us), LinkedIn will not respond or honor any requests within these feedback forms.
