Here's a tip
If you're having trouble sending personalized invitations, try updating the LinkedIn mobile app to the most current version.
Notes:
-
If the recipient replies to your message, it will appear in your messages.
-
You will be asked How do you know [member name]? when you send a connection request. And if you select the option We don’t know each other, you’ll be prompted to send them a message first, to establish a relationship. This could even mean sending them an InMail message based on their messaging settings.
-
Invitations sent from the People You May Know feature in the LinkedIn mobile app can't be personalized.
-
A primary email address is mandatory to send invitations.
-
If the recipient responds to your custom message or accepts your invite, a new message thread will appear in your Inbox. A response can be sent without accepting your invitation.
