    As holiday anticipation builds, trending products are shifting across U.S. merchants. We analyzed month-over-month sales from thousands of Shopify merchants to reveal November’s emerging trends. Here’s what stood out: → Homes are getting a festive upgrade, with demand up for Christmas tree stands (+242%), holiday stockings (+166%), garlands (+160%), and wreaths (+108%). → Comfort comes first as temperatures drop. Onesies (+136%), robes (+110%), and pajamas (+79%) are all on the rise as staying in becomes the season’s go-to. → Shoppers are choosing timeless toys: dollhouses (+177%), wooden blocks (+123%), musical boxes (+111%), and yo-yos (+93%) are all seeing a surge. → Sweet holiday indulgences are filling kitchens, with marshmallows (+123%), cookie decorating kits (+118%), pie crusts (+63%), and cookie and brownie dough (+61%) topping carts. → Pets are getting in on the festive spirit, with pet sweaters (+102%), pet hats (+47%), and pet bandanas (+23%) rising as households embrace holiday style for every member. The numbers are clear: shoppers aren’t just prepping for the holidays, they’re creating comfort and celebration at every turn.

It’s our annual data visualization that shows merchant sales in real time over Black Friday weekend. Here’s what you need to know: → Zoom into the globe to watch the world shop live. Every arc is a real-time order and every burst of confetti marks a merchant’s first sale. → Check the scoreboard for topline data: orders per minute, sales per minute, and unique shoppers. For more technical stats, like webhooks per minute, view the monitor to the right of the pinball machine.  → Play pinball. The best part? When entrepreneurs win, you do too.
