More questions are better than fewer as it is important to have a clear path forward as it pertains to how process should be implemented. Managers should make themselves available and ask how things are going. Preferably to be open to conversations about how there can be more flow and less friction in the daily processes. It also leaves important notes to refer to should conversations come up about where improvements are needed. A rested mind and body works better so make sure to get good rest. Conversely, activity is important, work out the stress with a physical activity you enjoy. Personally, I enjoy hiking and dancing, everyone has their favorite forms of activity. Take time to connect with people you enjoy who refill your cup when the work day drains it. Eat healthy and stay hydrated! These steps allow you to approach your new challenges with a fresh and invigorated point of view.
Adopting a flexible mindset can make a significant difference in how you experience change. Be willing to adapt to new roles or procedures, and consider this an opportunity to learn and grow. Adapting to a new organization can feel stressful. We tend to prefer the known from the unknown. There is comfort in "the way we do it". Particularly when the vision of the new company has a wide gap from the previous one. First, be patient and document the process if there are new points of friction. There may be new organization ideas that work better. Be willing to allow the process to unfold and note what works and what seems to need further adjusting. It will be revealed over time whether the new organization is a match for the previous staff. When flexible open communication is respectful there is plenty of opportunity to merge the best ideas and leave the rest behind. Which is what vibrant organizations do. They adapt and overcome.
Finally, planning for the future can give you a sense of control during uncertain times. Set short-term goals that align with the new organizational direction and consider how you can contribute positively. Planning helps you focus on what you can control, rather than worrying about what you cannot, which is an effective stress management strategy.

Having been through multiple, large corporate mergers and reorganization, it’s important to keep your eyes on the horizon yet feet on the ground. Network within your organization to find out about openings in other departments as well as communicate with your managers if possible. Be transparent as to your commitment to the company and willingness to take on a new position . Contrast to that, networking with people in your industry can help you determine other options. Change means opportunity but you have to create it!

So it’s important to acknowledge this.
