You can certainly look at others to see what they're doing, how they're doing it, and if it is things that you ought to emulate to get better at your job. However, never, ever, measure yourself against others. If they do well, that's great. It doesn't mean you can't also do well. If they've learned something and shared it, you can do the same. Learn something else and share that. Don't look to others for your own worth. Find it in yourself. If it's not there, make it.
