What do you do if logical reasoning is hindering effective problem-solving in cross-functional teams?

Collaboration: Facilitate open and constructive communication among team members to ensure that all perspectives are heard and valued. Create opportunities for cross-functional collaboration and encourage active participation from all team members.

If it's a logic problem then it should be able to be solved with logic. More often than not is is a people problem when those get emotionally attached to their own solutions. The emotional component needs to be taken into account. Direct communication is your friend here. Convincing someone alone with logic doesn't work for most people as we are emotional animals.

My logic is different to someone else’s and that’s why I like to hear different perspectives and voices. In particular the ones that are different to my own. Fresh ideas and perspectives are always good to bring a new edge to the solutions we can come up with to solve different challenges and by empowering others in the too to help solve problems we are always going to reach better and broader solutions.

The debate ends when both sides agree that they have opposite opinions about the topic. Thus, they are satisfied because no one has lost the debate, but actually, the hidden leader is the one whose opinion was less popular at the start.

Oen main reason of failure is fear of hidden agendas or priorities. This can only be solved with open communication and building an atmosphere of two-way participation. Open communication also allows the other party to share concerns that cannot be offered openly or right away without estsblishing a certain level of trust.

A confiança é para a mim a cola dos relacionamentos. Equipes que confiam entre si, são moldadas por líderes confiáveis. E esses mesmos lideres confiáveis criam espaços seguros onde a comunicação é como um jogo de "ping pong", a bola é sempre enviada "redonda" para que o outro possa recebê-la. Ai tem-se um jogo onde não há vencedores. Todos ganham, pois, o que importa é o crescimento do time como um todo. A inovação nesse caso tem campo aberto para florescer e dar bons frutos.

Acredito que o aprendizado é um caminho sem volta, uma estrada sem fim. Em equipes abertas à comunicação e ao crescimento, o aprendizado é obtido através de cursos, leituras e novas técnicas, mas sobretudo, em momentos de reflexão ao término de cada projeto. Refletir sobre erros e acertos é um caminho seguro para o crescimento de todos.

Failure if logic may not be true failure- it can be a deficiency of logic. One may not have the full picture or may be so focused in one aspect and miss (or neglect) another component that may undermine or seriously modify the outcome of logical reasoning. For this reason, taking a step back and allowing both time and space to reflect may lead to optimal outcomes.

Acredito que em equipes de alta performance, o equilíbrio deve ser um objetivo a ser perseguido sempre. Todas as metodologias e abordagens para solução dos desafios diários devem ser consideradas, mas pender somente para um lado da balança, para o raciocínio lógico, por exemplo, pode nos impedir de encontrar saídas mais rentáveis para um determinado problema.
