Self management is a very crucial part of team management.Your day to day behaviours get reflected in your teams.i e if you are late in meetings your team members will also be late in their meetings. if you are keeping your cameras off during your meeting, your team also will do the same.You need to follow -walk the talk -act as enablers - be a role model In short manage yourself, the team will get managed.

Employee Engagement : This becomes very crucial specially in an environment and ecosystem when the teams are completely remote & operating from customer premises in 24X7 timeframe and end up delivering through customer provided workstations on account of customer security policy. Teams get practically cut of from the parent organization, communication ecosystem and hardly visit the office. The Challenge is how do you keep such a team engaged and glued to the organization culture which hired them. My fear is that hiring organization will end up becoming an umbilical connection only . I have been grappling resolving this but nothing to boast about as such. Open to ideas , experiences and suggestions here !!!
