They need to describe the required output from the team and the constraints in which the team works (quality, quantity, resources and time.) Where conflict arises between different leaders need of an individual, the team member needs to be confident and supported to pass back thier concerns about these conflicting requirements. They have to be sure that thier leaders will listen, then take remedial action. Leaders need to have discussions between themselves, away from the team, to resolve priorities. Then communicate to the team, together.
