What’s getting measured can be improved upon! Identify the key result areas! Track the performance of the identified measures KRI’s! Identify the causes of the KRS which needs to be focused! Take one or two of the top causes ! Establish a process in place to improve ! Monitor the progress of the respective KRAs And repeat! Improvement over improvement! Think out of box for breakthrough improvements which only can bring break through results! I have done this exercise from 1991 till 2006 in BHEL’s various units- Trichy, Haridwar and Ranipet! I could experience remarkable results! I can guide why one in manufacturing environment!
