Everytime I put stakeholders in a room and make them share their vision I can see good results. Of course, each personality has it's own way of dealing with constraints —but the point is: when a business sponsor, a tech lead and even the customer can share their points of view, alignment emerges and everybody learn a bit more. It also creates a sense of belonging, which makes communication easier.
If efforts to align your team with the product vision are unsuccessful, it may be necessary to adjust your approach. Consider whether the vision itself needs refinement or if the way it's being communicated could be improved. Flexibility and willingness to adapt are key in leadership. By showing that you're open to change, you can encourage your team to be more receptive to the vision.
