On questioning unpeel the onion. Do not get stuck on the surface layer & be led by BANT, Scotsman, SPIN or whatever methodology. I watch as they proclaim I have got the budget number, but they do not know why its that number, can it be changed, what if you quote higher, who can change it, etc Ask more & do not go linear on the questions.
