Communication is the key to unlock all the hurdles in any career/job/project , even in our day to day personal activities. The main issue in technical jobs are so much occupied with logics,design, coding ,building solutions ,implementing and testing we forgot that we have to keep the responses and feedback from stake holders and before starting the process in each phase communication is must.Do invest in soft skills and practice it.

When it comes to Communication and Success in Projects, I find useful to involve all parts from early stage. It happens a lot that important executive decisions are taken without enough consulting on the technology side. This can lead to customer satisfaction issues, due to unexplored misalignment that may contribute to misunderstanding. Thus, it is very important to involve system architects/IT specialists and work together with business leaders. The challenge is always to strike a balance and communicate clearly and effectively at all levels and in all areas involved. It always depends on the combined experience of individual specialists. If you know more than your team colleagues in your field, you should take them on board as equals and drive the project constructively forward. Ein Beispiel aus meiner Praxis hat mir noch einmal ganz deutlich vor Augen geführt wie essentiell es für ein Unternehmen (in jedweder Größe) ist, die Mitarbeitenden regelmäßig in den Genuß einer Weiterbildung kommen zu lassen. In meinen Seminaren und den Live Coachings frage ich regelmäßig nach dem Grad der Erfahrung, als Selbsteinschätzung. Eine Kundin die mir zu Beginn sagte sie arbeite seit nunmehr 15 Jahren mit diesem ERP System und wolle nur noch mal „auffrischen“ bestätigte am Ende der Schulung, dass sie jetzt erst wisse, was sie vorher alles nicht wusste. Diesen Status zu erreichen, wünsche ich jedem Entscheider und jedem Teilnehmenden. Warum? Weil man im Tagesgeschäft einfach mehr schaffen kann, wenn bekannt ist, wie es geht.
