I've always been a big fan of "gamification" in work and personal life. Have a call quota to reach, make it a game...how many calls can I get in the next hour. What is my average call volume week over week. Even better if you have a colleague you can play around with for some light-hearted competition. Leadership is pushing a new initiative, make a bet with your team on who can get the most referrals/appointments/etc. and celebrate the winner as a group. Create a sense of play at work and the monotony can dissipate. Celebrating is a crucial part of turning a goal into something "fun".
