We recognized that traditional "distillers" malts don't match the needs of Canadian whisky producers. To help fill this gap, we've tailored our grain selection and production methods. This aligns with our purpose of making more products possible out of only Canadian ingredients. We've also advocated for the breeding of new barley varieties with specific attributes to benefit distillers.

E, mais importante, fez isso utilizando menos terras, melhorando o manejo nutricional e sanitário e, principalmente, com menor impacto ambiental.

Imagine a FPO manager sitting at a agri input retail outlet. 1st scenario - A farmers comes , asks for a pack of seed, pays the amount and goes back without any interaction (As the staff does not know the farmer in person). 2nd scenario - The manager by asking the mobile no or farmer I'd or aadhar details and gets a track of transactions of that farmers since last 2-3 years. That will help him/her engage with the farmer on his experience of.last transactions. If new farmers, they can be referred to other farmers in their locality who are part of the FPO. Imagine the difference. The manager has either serviced a repeat customer or just created a repeat customer only bcz of the engagement

Our small malt house (Red Shed Malting) and family farm (Hamill Farms Ltd.) were involved in the first beer in North America that traced the ingredients from field to can using Blockchain technology. It was a neat project to be a part of and it helped us tell our story and provide unprecedented transparency to consumers. I tend to find it discomforting that all the six points are exact replica of any business and nothing specific being discussed from Agribusiness per se.. the most important thing one has to understand in agribusiness is that you are working in an environment where stark contrasting objectives are to be met by the state I.e. higher farm income and at the same time affordable food price. A successful agribusiness is a supply driven game where only a controlled supply can help you sustained for longer period.

Scalable, sustainable solutions. Every solution should be made considering the wide range of crops and agro climatic conditions. Develop the products as solutions that can deliver even in worst case scenarios. Being related to agriculture and ultimately to food, all solutions should have a positive impact on the ecology in some way or the other.
