I experienced this recently. I was used to only working with the practical side of video production - planning, filming ,editing, etc, but had gotten a role with more responsibilities that now involved budgets, team members, schedules and higher level decisions. My advice is that you will never truly feel ready, but you will be. Trust yourself and learn everything you can while you are starting out. Talk to people A LOT. As long as you have the best intentions in mind and you are accountable, you will be okay. It helps to be in an environment that views mistakes as learning opportunities too.
