Not 100% sure a Recruiter role will become 100% obsolete. On the other hand in this tough market one must always be learning, always networking, always engaging in conversations and #pivot Pivoting is so important. The great thing about TA- Recruiters is their ability to transition into Account Manager or BDM roles as well as Customer Service Management or Project Coordinators / Project Management; we have the skills and abilities to jump into roles such as those. Or even Administrative roles.

I don't think it will be entirely obsolete, because AI can't be the complete judge of human character (The Turing Problem). AI will help to streamline the process, to help us better target the right candidates for jobs, but we will have to incorporate the human element when deciding if that person is the right one for the job or not.

I do not anticipate the need for recruiters to become obsolete. Instead, I would expect the desk of a recruiter to change, as AI becomes more popular. Well-rounded learning will enhance the value of an employee.
