I have recently moved from my native country and currently working as an expat. In current scenario, I strongly believe that unplugging yourself from the digital cosmos is an order of the day. In order to summarize, here are the three steps that can help you succeed in this: 1. Give 5-10 minutes to yourself and analyze where you stand and where you can thrive. 2. Learn from people. A 5-10 minute constructive talk with your friend will do no harm. 3. Close your eyes and acknowlege that you are blessed. There are many who crave for the life that you currently have.

I take periodic breaks within the day to rest, recharge and restore my batteries. What do I do during this time? I watch videos completely away from what I do. Also, I use this time to read a book, chat with a friend offline or online, take a walk or something completely off work.

To keep them alive and fresh, take some time out for yourself and keep your distance from the screen for a while. Stop thinking about the project, work, or anything you are working on. Walks are the way to go. The key to life, as Theodore Roosevelt would have stressed, is movement. My doctor agrees, and walking is the easiest and most basic of movements. Being off by myself, churning away at the steps, stretching the legs as it were, generates brainstorms from which ideas flow - newborns though they be, they’re often spontaneous and vibrant. It is far better, in my humble opinion, then wallowing upon a couch staring at the devices and mindlessly scrolling.

There's a great book by Kevin Cashman - The Pause Principle. It's written for those of us who think we're indispensable. It's a healthy reminder that humans, like the batteries of our devices, need a regular recharge. The most important structured break in my opinion is sleep. Sleep deprivation is debilitating, so do yourself a favour and get a good night's sleep every night.

Great advice!! Back in the olden days when people smoked (not great) the one benefit was an excuse to take breaks. Not encouraging smoking at all, but I remember it was great to get out of the building every hour!!

I have had some of the finest conversations with myself, thinking aloud over a problem, or pondering a curiosity helps to see things in a different light. It’s a simple joy and a ready way of problem solving; of taking calming nagging thoughts. It’s journaling but aloud. It’s worth giving a try.

Well we have to use our natural capacity of rejuvenating, the energy we can transmit with the eyes that can project like Sun makes grow all. This energy comes from the freedom frequency where we don't find any I contained in words. Is a lifetime explanation.
