One of things I practice with all stakeholders is to set the context of our meeting & let the opposite party speak first on the proposition. Letting them speak first makes the other person feel valued & helps you warm up your relationship. The next bit is to work your way towards the common goal - be it business negotiation or a career discussion by charting out each others' deliverables & timelines and staying committed to it.

This means you MUST DO WHAT IS RIGHT and NOT WHAT IS EASY, including making unpopular decisions. You must have the GUTS & COURAGE to tell your stakeholders that the actions to be taken are ethically wrong based on available facts & figures. It MEANS you will NOT knowingly follow instructions blindly when you know it's not the right thing to do. Do not be afraid to tell the truth.

It’s a great pointer and feels it shouldn’t be clubbed. Rather than using the word reinforcing, I would have preferred that promote stakeholders values or vision. It means the same but more we use words which is no authoritarian it creates inclusiveness. On a side note, try to question and understand the logic behind the approach from them, so it becomes easier to include the message on continuous basis, create strategies which puts you inline with the requirements.

I am not the same person as i were few roles/years ago so the same is applicable to others too. Sticking with perceptions doesn't help in a world where curious people are continuously learning, evolving and moving forward. Also priorities switches very frequently in corporate world today, which impact people's plan, deadlines and behaviors. It is important for us to adapt as committed partners to our stakeholders while sharing the up-and-down of prevailing dynamics, this certainly helped me to build/improve trust and relationship.

De no evolucionar “todo”, se verían muchas “ruinas” por aquí y por allá. La magnífica y premiada campaña Navideña desde el día siguiente a su reconocimiento debe dar paso a lo que será la siguiente campaña Navideña la que deberá “imponer” o reconocer las tendencias y cambios del mercado. Una de las mejores cualidades de un Líder es la “adaptabilidad”, incluso es muy reconocido el Líder “que se adelanta” e incluso domina o usa “la novedad” ante el beneplácito de sus dirigidos. Consideramos que en esta última contribución la IA estuvo muy acertada en sus propuestas.
