The biggest thing I’ve come to accept with a growth mindset is that no one I view as a master of something, or whom operates at the peak of their field started there. They have all come to be where they are through experience and hard work. As I build my skills in this space, I look for learning opportunities everyday. They might come in the form of books, public lectures, Tedtalks, or training at work. I find one of my favorite ways to learn is from others. I actively observe interactions and find mentors to learn from. I believe it’s the fastest way for me to gain a skill in an area I want to develop.

Analyzing the failure and filtering out what exactly didn't work but could have been good is therefore helpful. Seeing the good and trying it again in a different way could lead to success this time. If it still doesn't work, then start a new project. Those who do, make mistakes. But that's better than doing nothing. Otherwise, neither you nor the company will develop further.

"Fostering growth from failures" & "toxic positivity" are the two ends of the response scale. 1) Failures are inevitable & they will occur in the process of achieving targets. When we don't have any failures, then definitely we are not on the right track. 2) We can use Emotional Intelligence to understand & evaluate failures. This will help us evolve & adapt to succeed in the future. But we should not blindly stay positive in predicting our success. 3) EI involves analysing & solving challenges after understanding & managing overwhelming emotions of failure. 4) The confusion we keep is that high EI means being emotionally irrational, whereas in reality EI is about acknowledging & channelizing emotions for favorable healthy outcomes.
