Mid-career challenges don't overcome themselves unfortunately, we need to make an active effort to surmount these obstacles. Seek out external guidance from other product marketers either as mentors or peers. Join organizations like the Product Marketing Alliance and network with others dealing with similar challenges. Try not to succumb to imposter syndrome - everyone has times when they second guess themselves. Commit to learning one lesson every day, however small. This way you'll learn hundreds of lessons every year. When you learn like this, you cannot NOT overcome your mid-career challenges!
