There's a lot to like about this show so far.

The animation and visuals are great, even if sometimes they feel like they aren't very well glued together. But overall production wise this is a great adaptation and the OST is good. I enjoyed the OP song a lot too.

The pacing of the story itself was a bit hard to keep up with at first and the whole thing feels a little telegraphed and over-dramatic, instead of just letting the characters be characters. That being said, by the end of episode 3 I was left with enough to hook me for more.

The animation really surprised me! Like, I knew it was based on a webtoon, but I wasn't expecting it to look this good.

Big shoutout to Colored Pencil Animation Studio, you guys absolutely nailed it.

This is ufotable level animation.

The colors, the lighting, the little details in the castle scenes and magic effects? Super polished and full of life. You can tell they put real care into making every frame feel expressive and dreamy.

The story, though? Kinda confusing at first. There's time travel(re:zero fans, you'll be fine, this is nothing), and a whole "please don't kill me, Dad" vibe that takes a minute to unpack. It doesn't always spell things out, so if you're not used to the genre, you might feel a little lost. But once I stopped overthinking and just leaned into the drama and feels, I was hooked.

If you're into fantasy isekai/reincarnation stories with emotional depth, a clever heroine, and gorgeous visuals, you'll probably love it like I did.

I really enjoyed The Fated Magical Princess. The main character is adorable and relatable and the fantasy world is colorful, imaginative and easy to get lost in. The romance is sweet and heartwarming, with moments that genuinely made me smile. The humor is light and charming and the animation is visually appealing.

That said, the pacing feels uneven in parts and compared to the manhwa, some character development and story depth are missing. A few plot points feel rushed or simplified, which can make the story a little predictable at times. Still, it's a fun and engaging watch for anyone who enjoys lighthearted fantasy romance and it's easy to enjoy without overthinking. Overall, it's a charming series that's worth checking out for its cute characters and enjoyable story.

It is a funny anime with very good storytelling. The first 3 episodes are pretty good and I'm hoping that the next episodes are also strong. The combination of humorous scenes and compelling storytelling makes this series a real treat to watch.

Even so, I thought the story was so terrible that it made me want to give it a low rating.

And the direction is poor, making it difficult for viewers to smoothly empathize with the characters.
