The infamous YouTube prankster known for disrupting Match of the Day with sex noises, Daniel 'Jarvo' Jarvis, has been banned from racecourses following his Cheltenham Gold Cup antics. Hailing from Gravesend in Kent, Jarvis is lovingly dubbed as the 'Greatest Prankster on Earth' due to his various stunts which include dodgy impersonations that see him brazenly invade high-profile sporting events.

He's notorious for causing disruptions such as barging into England's cricketer Jonny Bairstow during a Lord's Test match against India and crashing South Africa's Rugby World Cup celebrations. His notorious exploits also extended to four months ago where he claimed to have pranked the Champions League draw where sex noises could be heard in the background, a stunt similar to one on Match of the Day which left presenter Gary Lineker unimpressed.

One of his most recent escapades involved bluffing his way into the winners' enclosure at last month's Cheltenham Gold Cup, where he was clad in a top sporting the green and gold colours of horse owner J P McManus. In a cheeky Facebook post, he boasted about his entry into the exclusive area: "Me in the winning enclosure, I have now won the Cheltenham Gold Cup!!!!"

To prevent any repeats of such disruptive behaviour, especially ahead of last week's Grand National event, the BHA issued a banning order targeting Jarvis who boasts more than 200,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel and nearly half a million followers on Facebook.

In September 2022, Jarvis was handed an eight-week suspended sentence, for a two-year period, at Croydon Magistrates Court over aggravated trespass. The charges sprung from his illicit entrance onto the pitch during England's stint at Lord's in 2021, reports the Mirror.

Jarvis found his way on the field, made a play to bowl at Ollie Pope, but ended up colliding with non-striker Jonny Bairstow instead. Defending himself in court, Jarvis expressed that he had no intention of causing disruption to the game.

Furthermore, District Judge Daniel Benjamin set forth a two-year exclusion requirement, valid until October 2024, prohibiting Jarvis from being within any sport-related premises or land in England and Wales "used for a sporting fixture open to paying spectators during the sporting fixture, the hour before the scheduled start time of the fixture, and the hour after the fixture concludes".

The BHA has flagged the alleged violation to the police. Jarvis was approached for a comment regarding these developments.
