Head of Creator Partnerships and Shopping, YouTube

  • 12 years of experience in business development/partnerships, strategy, or project management, and experience interacting with C-level partner executives.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience building digital media rights agreements.
  • Experience in the shopping industry from building strategies to executions.
  • Experience working with creators and enterprise partners
  • Experience with presenting and public speaking.
  • Ability to learn technological concepts, financial models, and product features.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee identification, analysis and execution of our business with key creators, Multi-Channel Network (MCN) partners, and shopping. 
  • Develop YouTube strategy/plan for the creator ecosystem and shopping. Recommend business strategies working with cross-functional teams at Google and YouTube
  • Lead a team of business development and account management professionals responsible for managing business relationships with YouTube creators, MCNs, and Shopping.
  • Partner with and align regional/global stakeholders by providing insight, understanding, and leadership for country specific challenges and opportunities. 
  • Define content objectives and manage alignment across Marketing, Operations, Sales, and other cross-functional teams.
