Afterpay Plus three months’ free for new Afterpay Plus subscribers Terms and Conditions
This promotional offer ("Offer") is made by Afterpay Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 15 169 342 947) ("Afterpay").
1. These terms and conditions (“terms”) apply in the event that you (“you / your”) claim the Offer in accordance with these terms. By claiming the Offer you agree to these terms and conditions.
2. The Offer is subject to the General Terms and the Specific Terms.
3. The Offer of three months’ free Afterpay Plus subscriptions will be automatically be applied to your Afterpay Plus subscription.
a. On the day you successfully subscribe to Afterpay Plus for the first time, instead of charging the usual subscription fee of $9.99, we will process the fee as $0.00.
b. As long as you remain eligible for the Offer in accordance with these terms, on the date of your second subscription fee, instead of charging the usual subscription fee of $9.99, we will process the fee as $0.00.
c. As long as you remain eligible for the Offer in accordance with these terms, on the date of your third subscription fee, instead of charging the usual subscription fee of $9.99, we will process the fee as $0.00,
4. In order to be eligible for the Offer, you must:
a. Be eligible to apply for Afterpay Plus.
b. Be a first time subscriber to Afterpay Plus - the Offer is only available to brand new Afterpay subscribers.
c. Have your application for Afterpay Plus accepted by us and successfully complete the Afterpay Plus subscription via the Afterpay app during the Offer period.
d. In order to claim the promotional discount for the second and third month of your Afterpay Plus subscription as described in clause 3(b) and (c) above, you must hold a valid Afterpay Plus subscription and continue to meet these eligibility criteria and satisfy these terms.
5. The Offer can only be claimed once, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer. The Offer is non-transferable, not redeemable for cash or credit, and may not be resold. If you violate any of these Offer terms, the General Terms or Specific Terms, the Offer (including the promotional discount) will be invalid and may be cancelled.
6. The Offer period begins on the date that customers who are eligible to apply for Plus are shown the Offer’s promotional banner in the Afterpay app and ends when we remove the Offer from the Afterpay app.
7. If we or you cancel your Afterpay Plus subscription during the first three months of your Afterpay Plus subscription, you will no longer be eligible to receive the promotional discount.
8. The period of the promotional discount begins on the date you first subscribe to Afterpay Plus (which starts the first subscription period) and will not extend past the third subscription period (i.e. the date the third subscription fee would usually be charged). If you pause your Afterpay Plus subscription or your Afterpay Plus subscription is suspended by Afterpay for any reason (e.g. due to overdue payments), the promotional discount does not pause and you may not receive all parts of the promotional discount. For example, if you pause your Afterpay Plus subscription after 20 days and do not unpause it for three months, you will not receive the promotional discount for the second and third month of your subscription.
9. The Offer is only valid in Australia.
