I use this product after I wash and blow dry my hair every 4ish days. I also use it throughout the week to maintain the hydration in my hair. This bottle has lasted me about 8 months and I’m almost out. Although it’s been good, there are definitely better oils out there and I’m going to be experimenting with some other high quality brands because I’ve found ones that work better . For example, the kerastase hair oil seems to be a little thicker and leaves my hair looking and feeling a lot better than olaplex- plus you get more for the same price if you get the “mini” version! I’d recommend olaplex if you have SUPER fine and thin hair that gets weighed down and oily really fast. If your hair is medium or even fine but not extremely fine, then you should try kerastase or the light version of Moroccan oil. If you have coarse or thick hair, you should try Moroccan oil (not the light version). The L’Oreal extraordinary oil is a good dupe for kerastase if the name brand too expensive.

This product gets absorbed fast and tames down frizz moderately well, but the performance isn’t as good as you would think. My ends are very healthy, but they’re this way because of the kerastase oil. This oil smells really nice, and the scent lasts longer than kerastase and is a little stronger. Even then- I’d rather use kerastase and invest in a hair perfume than only use olaplex. I’d say this product is more of a maintenance oil rather than a repairing one.
