The playpen is larger than I expected and it was very easy to assemble. I watched the video before I bought it which was helpful. The bottom does not have a 'pad' it has a thin quilt-like bottom that attaches with velcro...don't confuse this with a pad. I knew this going in, so I bought 4 foam pads that connect (from harbor freight for $10) and I put them under which fit perfectly. You may not need that if you have carpet but we don't, we have hardwood flooring so it worked out great. Other than that, the only thing I wish it had was a foam padding around the upright poles on the sides. As my grandson struggled to stand up, he would accassionally slide down close to the pole. Never hitting it but I could imagine it hurting if he did. I might buy some pool noodles and see if i can pad them for next time.

I bought this playpen for my 18 month old. We just used it for one week and it’s already ripped in three places. My 18 month is not that heavy or no one is jumping in the playpen so that it would get ripped this bad. This is terrible. Please don’t buy it. It’s not it’s not worth the price just spend 10 or $20 more than what you’re paying for this and get a better quality one. WORST purchase ever!!!

It's been 24 hours since I installed the product and one side under the mesh has already ripped. Now the product has only been used by an 8-month-old baby who crawls, doesn't lean on the sides, and does not pull at the fabric. I made sure when I put it together that I didn't damage it, so I am not sure if the fabric gave in or what happened.
It is a great product, it's very cute and collapses into a small bag that barely occupies any space.
I'm returning it.

it was very simple and basic to setup. The door to enter is a zipper and will only fit a child. Many times I would enter the play pen by going over it. padding is decent for the walls. you definitely want to add some extra floor padding underneath as the floor padding isn't the best. overall it gets the job done.
