Low profile Keychron Optical switch is only compatible with Keychron K1 / K1SE / K3 / K5 / K5SE / K7 low profile optical version keyboards, it is not compatible with any conventional mx style mechanical switch.

I originally bought the Keychron K3 with the brown switches, but found them a bit too mushy for my tastes. The blue switches had better feedback, but where too loud and distracting for me. The mint switches are similar to the browns, but offer more resistance and feel better to my fingers. They may be more fatiguing for people who are really typing all day long, but for me they strike a better balance than the browns. I feel like my accuracy is better and I have fewer accidental presses. The only problem I had was that the space bar felt a bit too stiff. I switched it to a blue and it's fine now. May consider trying the mint at some point in the future for this key as well - it's probably just a matter of getting used to it. On the other hand, one advantage of the K3 is that you can mix and match switches as needed for specific keys.

Brown switches for my Deathstalker V2 TKL

I really wanted to like the mint switches but they were too fatiguing to type with because of the large amount of acctuation plus the early bump feels like it adds extra resistance. I ended up trying the bananas and browns and I stuck with the browns. I don't understand why people have described the browns as mushy, they have enough resistance for someone heavy fingered like me and a nice bump that isn't too overwhelming if you plan on typing and gaming with the same keyboard. Typing with them right now and very happy with them so far!

I really want to like the orange switches and so far, the ping on these are slightly annoying. Not to mention, I have a few that are clearly defective (much louder ping). I may return these..

The bananas on the other hand is amazing. It's a great balance of tactileness and audible noise. If you own an M1 Mac and would like to have a similar feel to your low profile keyboard, get the bananas. Heck it even sounds similar when you type.

The Razer Deathstalker V2 Pro TKL only comes in clicky and linear switches, no tactile like for G915TKL.
Luckily the Razer has swappable switches (unlike G915 big L there) and these banana switches will make it a perfect wireless low-profile tactile keyboard.

Super great switches and the price (25 bucks for a full TKL set) is super reasonable.

Banana not much different from linear reds

I got a Keychron K3 with linear red optical switches, my first non-membrane keyboard. I was curious to experience tactile switches. After doing a bunch of reading, I decided to give the banana switches a try. I found the tactility to be much more subtle than I had expected. I just didn't find them to be significantly different in feel from the red linears. After changing out the home row for bananas and comparing them, I decided I preferred the reds and returned the tactile switches.

I attempted to lubricate the original brown switches in my K2. They wound up feeling like linear switches following a very light lubrication. The mint switches returned the tactile bump feel and I prefer the heavier actuation weight, especially on a smaller keyboard. So far, I like them. My keyboard also has some o-rings under each key. Overall, these have a tactile bump, are quiet and have a nice firm actuation weight

Bought the Keychron K3 with the brown switches having watched lots of youtube reviews and the general advice being 'if you don't know anything about keyboard switches then get brown'. I initially found the keyboard a little disappointing as a continuously made typing errors, hitting the wrong key or two keys and once - I was used to the Macbook Pro keys and even though the K3 is low profile they are still radically more protruding than the mac. After a bit more research I purchased a set of Mint switches and swapped out the Browns - now I'm happy - I think the problem had been the Browns were too soft and too easily activated by casual finger resting on the keys, the Mints require a slightly firmer push but for a heavy fingered typer its more comfortable and less typo producing. Mints make for a more 'positive' K3 experience in that they work well with a firmer typing style and create a reassuring thonk sound, especially the space bar.
