I pondered over purchasing this item for a long time. I'm quite handy and understand that this is literally just a fabric covered magnet with a rubber pad underneath it. However after weeks of considering how I could make one similar and have it look anywhere near as nice I decided to just spend the money and get this. Every single time I use it I am absolutely thrilled. It sits nicely on my dresser without moving and without damaging my dresser. I can easily attach and unattach my cable to it without issues. It's so simple it's just ridiculous. I use it at least twice a day and I am very happy with it. I have the same issue downstairs but I don't really care what that looks like so I'm considering making my own for that. There's no way I can make anything that looks this nice. I really wanted something that really looks nice to sit on the nightstand. This is it.

The magnet is powerful but the cords can be pulled off easily. Be sure to add a magnet clip (they come with 2) if the cord head isn’t magnetic - not all of them are. The holders look great. I do wish they came in a few more colors. Dark brown would be a great one to blend in with dark brown furniture.
