There aren't many options at this price from Samsung at this price point with such a display and performance.
The Samsung Tab S8+ sets a high bar with its impressive AMOLED screen, lightning-fast processor, and robust DeX experience. Priced at $549 in 2024, it still stands out as a top contender in the tablet market. Unlike most FE tabs, its AMOLED display offers vibrant colors and deep contrasts, which I was sold on.
One of the standout features of the Tab S8+ is its snapdragon CPU, ensuring smooth multitasking and seamless performance, whether you're browsing the web, streaming content, or running demanding applications. The combination of its processor and AMOLED screen creates a truly dynamic user experience. FEs are only equipped with Exynos, IMO they're subpar for their price.
Another highlight is the DeX experience, most keyboards for under 100 so you can easily buy the original samsung covers but even with wider choices, for photos, or responding to emails, the Tab S8+ transforms into a versatile workstation, I wouldn't compare it with iPad Pro or Ultra but it's definitely strong in its own league.
Solid Battery life, I use the machine sparingly but you will not feel battery drain issues in general.
While the $549 price tag may seem little steep, the value it offers in terms of performance, display quality, and productivity features justifies the investment. Compared to other FE tabs with LCD screens, the Tab S8+ undoubtedly stands out with its superior display technology.
In conclusion, the Samsung Tab S8+ excels in all key areas with its AMOLED screen, powerful processor, and versatile DeX and samsung's promise for long term updates, i will buy it over any FE tab. Top value for money.
