I bought two of these Vital 200S-Ps. One for the large bedroom and one for the family room. I have to say I'm impressed. Good software and is easy to use. No problem with home automation (Alexa or Google). Most importantly, it does what it should. Cleans the air. My kid was 15 ft away and sneezed. It detected the particles within the minute and increased the filtration speed per my smart scene settings. I was impressed Of course, it would do the same if you have it in automatic mode, but I like to run certain speeds at certain times and don't prefer the automatic setting so much. I run schedules and the smart scene monitors the air quality. It also detects poor air quality from the kitchen (other room) if something is smoking (usually my dirty oven). The smart scene kicked it into high speed for me there too. I have a smaller one in the kitchen (Vital 100S-P) and it does a great job there, but as with most kitchen smoke, it drifts to other rooms quickly.
The pre-filter does a pretty good job but I don't have pets. The lack of noise is impressive. I run the bedroom at night on speed 2 (speeds are sleep-1-2-3-4) and it is so quiet I don't hear it unless I walk up to it. Sleep mode makes the sound undetectable to me. So quiet, I have to put my hand in front of the vent to make sure it is actually blowing. It is. The loudest is speed 4 (of course) but it is still much quieter than my older Honeywells. Even on speed 4, I can watch TV in the family room and it doesn't disturb me.
To be fair, I usually like to point out a negative or con with a review if there is one, but I can't in this case, I can't. For me, it fits the need and appears to be doing a great job. STRONG RECOMMEND

Works amazing for kitchen smoke from cooking!
We pan sear our steaks, it creates a lot of smoke and lingering odors that spreads around the home. This thing works 100% like it claims. There’s zero cooking odors and smoke in our kitchen and living room now. Truly amazed.In my photo, it shows a orange ring because the built in sensor is detecting bad air quality from cooking. It’ll go from Blue (Very Good), Green (Good), Orange (Moderate), and Red (Bad). Once the air becomes cleaner, it’ll automatically work its way back down to blue (very good). Love this feature.It looks modern, sleek and performs like a champ. Even when it’s running on the highest fan setting, it’s still more quiet than our oven hood fan running on low. It also blows cool air out of the top when running which is a plus.The filter is easy to access on the back. Comes out in seconds. Overall 100% worth the money. I own three Levoits for our home.
