I had debated about my need for this cleaner when I got a LeCreuset Dutch oven for Christmas. I read the reviews that some just used Dawn dishwashing liquid. I was doing the same with good results, but I went ahead and ordered this cleaner along with the recommended scrubber. I put it under the sink and didn’t use it because Dawn was working well. Then, after making a beef stew, and cooking it for a few hours, slowly, there was a stubborn stain on the bottom that I couldn’t get off with the Dawn, even using the LeCreuset scrubber. So I put a bit of this cleaner on it and the stain came right off!

Considering that I’ll only use this product occasionally, and not as my main cleaner, I’d say it’s worth the price, and should last a good while.

This cleaner is not inexpensive and honestly I thought I would be sending it back, BUT, it really worked. I just recently bought another LC dutch oven and wanted to be sure to keep it looking like new, as much as possible. On a whim, I used this cleaner on my several years old dutch oven that was showing a bit of wear and it cleaned it like new without much elbow grease. I was surprised and very impressed. I would definitely recommend this product. It does not require a lot of cleaner to remove stains so it should last you for a while.

After many years the enamel on the bottom of my dutch oven was starting to get a little rough and was no longer as easy to clean as when I got it 10+ years ago. The outside was also a little dull. Enamel is glass. It can be scratched but it can also be polished. This stuff is the polish. It took some elbow grease but now the inside and outside of my oven are like new. The outside is possibly better than new. This product contains a very fine and very hard abrasive. It will produce a clean and smooth finish but it will take some work on your part. Worth the effort in my opinion.

In questo caso invece la recensione è motivata dal fatto che le aspettative sono state non soltanto raggiunte ma ampiamente superate. Possiedo una pentola smaltata Le Creuset da 5 anni e sebbene la utilizzi con cura c’è sempre il piccolo graffio sul fondo che con il tempo ha anche perso un po’ della sua lucentezza in seguito all’uso. Ebbene, 5 gocce (contate) sul fondo e un po’ di sfregamento con un foglio di carta assorbente asciutta ha rimesso la pentola a nuovo, incluso il pomello in metallo del coperchio, diventato scuro durante le cotture in forno. Prodotto non economico ma che vale davvero ogni centesimo. Ottimo.
