If you have stainless steel cookware, this will keep it looking like new!

Stainless steel cookware is what most professional chefs use because it distributes heat evenly, it is very durable and you can use metal utensils in it. Most home cooks, like us, avoid stainless steel because it is a nightmare to clean. We opt instead for one of the many non-stick options out there. Unfortunately, some non-stick cookware is unhealthy, others (ceramic) does not last more than a couple of years before the coating is worn off and the pans are virtually useless. Additionally, non-stick cookware does not allow you to use metal utensils, which are a must for certain recipes and cooking styles. So, we purchased a few stainless steel pans. Naturally, they became discolored after just a few uses and they lived up to their reputation of being hard to clean. The pan manufacturer recommended using Bar Keeper's Friend stainless steel cleaner. So we gave it a try. Wow! With minimal effort, this cleaner removes stains and discoloration from your cookware leaving it looking like brand new. It also does a phenomenal job of cleaning your sink strainers and other heavy stainless steel products in your kitchen. We highly recommend it and are considering tossing out our remaining non-stick cookware and shifting entirely to stainless steel. Note that we never put our bakeware or cookware in the dishwasher, so using this product is no more effort for us from a hand-washing perspective than what we were already accustomed to.

This is a powder cleanser so sometimes you got to bang on the counter or your hands to loosen up the powder to sprinkle. I love having the bottom of my pots and pans look almost new, no cooked on grease and discoloration. This cleanser keeps my cookware looking great, and yes, it means you have to spend 1-3 minutes scrubbing (use the correct type of scrub utensil for your pans) but true cleaning uses your elbow grease! Nothing gets clean with just wiping. This also works on counter surfaces to get out stains that won't come out with surface cleaners, so it pulls the stain up and out of the surface. A soft liquid version works great if you are concerned about scratching surfaces, and we use that on our glass induction stove top, makes the spills go away and gives the shine back!

My family kept Bar Keep and Bon Ami in our home. I was a Tomboy, so I got into a lot of fights. I was assigned bathroom and KP duty. Early on I was taught to make a cleansing paste and scrub in small circle. It taught me patience and to value what I have. Both have oxalic acid the same natural enzyme in Rhubarb and Okra. It's got natural soap properties from the slime and clean rinse like soap nuts act with clothes. Great product. I am pleased it's still going on so strong. Water Bugs and Roches don't like Barkeeper's friend either because it has the same properties of Diatom dries which dries them out immediately.

All that stubborn burnt oil will finally come off.
I went on a tear and cleaned all my pots, pans, bbq grill basket, utensils.
