Update Oct' 2013 - Most of the Portland stations disappeared in the summer, but this is to be expected. Only a seasonal miracle gets UHF at 100+ miles. Have yet to reproduce the original peformance this year. We'll see.
Update 11/7/2013 - The Portland stations have disappeared along with one of the translators in Albany and have not returned this winter. Maybe the connections have deteriorated, but it nearly killed me to mount the first time and I doubt if I can get it down in one piece now. So basically not useful, but 110 mile reception was probably just a seasonal or unique propagation situation. Can't expect that to last , I guess.
The improvement has been dramatic, and the irony is that while it is directional, it is less fussy than the DB8. I fine tuned the rotor to maximize signal from NBC4 and it has performed well for several weeks.
TV reception from a fringe area with unpredictable New England weather and lots of trees in your path to the transmitter(s) is an adventure. One night, during a full moon I suddenly lost the signal from most of the NYC channels. When I rescanned I got the network affilliates in Hartford, CT and Philadelphia. BTW, the FCC assigned the CT and NY CBS stations the same frequency, so while CBS transmits from the same direction as NBC, ABC and FOX, they must operate at reduced power and compete with the signal strength from Hartford.
The overall performance? I get NBC, ABC, FOX along with several PBS stations in NY and CT, and a few independents at 80-100% signal strength most of the time with no dropouts or pixilations. I can also receive CBS at about 50-60% usually with no problems. I also get ION and some other Spanish-language programming. CBS is negotiating to increase signal strength, and when the leaves fall, I should have even better line-of-sight. Terrestrial DT is still a work-in-progress, but you can't beat free HD. With high-speed DSL or similar, you should be able to round out your viewing experience. I would recommend this antenna for a similar application. Good luck!
UPDATE JANUARY 2013: Over three years in service and still going strong! CBS worked out the conflict between NYC and Hartford, so I get all of the networks, even when the tall trees fill in. Make sure you have an amp on the mast and install on a rotor. When the heavy winds blow through, you will need to make minor directional adjustments.

That's an odd design choice for North America, now that everything above UHF 36 has been lost to the mobile telephone bandits.
Mechanically? The many individual elements are made from lightweight aluminium, so it's easy to inadvertently bend one or two. The large rear reflector is manufactured as two separate flat pieces, with the whole mess held in place by a single, small bolt. Fairly fragile for something intended to be installed outdoors.
On some high channels (such as that weak UHF DT35 that's on an ugly directional pattern pointed away from us) this little antenna is highly directional and can outperform some of the best antennas that established manufacturers (such as Channel Master) have to offer. Try that same comparison on VHF DT8, though, and this antenna is neither able to receive a less-than-city-grade signal nor designed to do so. Antennas Direct was selling an aftermarket kit which was supposed to add VHF by clumsily zip-tying a bunny-ear style dipole to the mast of the main antenna and feeding the mess to a signal combiner, but don't waste your time. If everything you're trying to pick up is either local or on UHF, and are basically in the same approximate direction, this is electrically a good antenna.
I just wish they'd redesign this a bit to favour the few "core" OTA TV channels we have left (de-facto UHF 14-36 and VHF 7-13, as anything further down the dial has become a wasteland due to impulse noise) and mechanically build these to be a bit more sturdy. No point optimising for "Weird Al's U-62" if the channel no longer exists on that frequency.
Go long distant antenna for a reasonable price.
Cheaper materials used, but if quality made would be paying $300.00. If you get 10 years out of them your doing good.
They are more focused on the city your aiming for then a 8 bay.
My two major markets are Buffalo, New York and Toronto, Ontario.
If aiming at Buffalo, I know I will not get the Toronto market.
If using a fixed antenna set up you need two antennas one at Buffalo and another at Toronto. Trying to aim in the middle will result in pixelation or a no signal.
This antenna aimed at Buffalo brought in 7 more stations a DB8e 8 bay could not pickup. 8 bays have no forward gain. Always use a Yagi this style antenna over a 4 or 8 bay antenna.

We'd suggest trying someone in Australia for assistance. We're on the opposite side of the world.
We've never exported or sold our antennas in Australia, that was likely done by a third party without our knowledge.
Cheers!
Don't bother buying this antenna.
The biggest negative is that the 91XG was designed before the 700Mhz and recent 600Mhz auctions and it's largest gain is in those upper frequencies. Cell towers now exist on the 700Mhz band and will be shortly on the 600Mhz band, which means this antenna is really good at pulling in noise from those cellular bands where TV channels used to be (I scanned the range and it gets 100% signal strength on a couple cell towers here!). The downside is that if you're extremely close to a cell tower and have the antenna pointed near it, the strong interference may overload the TV tuner which will reduce the signal quality of your weaker channels.
Hopefully Antennas Direct does a redesign of this antenna in the future to pull the peak gain towards the 470-600Mhz frequency range. It really *is* a solid antenna even as-is, but would perform even better if they tweaked the bowtie size slightly to optimize for the new UHF frequency band.
