Description

    Inspired by true events, Eddie the Eagle is a feel-good story about Michael 'Eddie' Edwards (Taron Egerton), an unlikely but courageous British ski-jumper who never stopped believing in himself – even as an entire nation was counting him out. Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Bromance to Remember I cannot recommend this movie enough! I've watched it 3 times since I got it in the mail less than a month ago (its that good) and it never lets me down! Such a feelgood film and the cast is to die for. Hugh Jackman and Taron Egerton have such chemistry, they work so well together, you just want to be there right along with them! Eddie's (Taron Egerton) resilience and great attitude is so inspiring, it's a true story that will be watched over and over again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the great movies I saw this film at the theatre when it came out. I just loved it. It is so uplifting and inspiring, that's because it is a true story. When Eddie comes back into the airport at the end of the film it was so emotional. I don't know why it didn't get more acclaim. It is fantastic. Well done Eddie. Eddie's mother's unwavering support and belief in her son was wonderful. They just don't make films like this anymore.
