FOP at Comic-Con
So your schedule for this Saturday at Comic-Con is getting fuller by the minute. In addition to the Fanboy panel that afternoon, now you’ve also got to stop by the Fairly OddParents event that morning. Along with yapping it up about FOP, Butch Hartman and a cadre of VIPs will talk about Butch’s new Nick show, T.U.F.F. Puppy, too. From the Comic-Con website:
11:30-12:30 Nickelodeon: Hartman’s Heroes: The Fairly OddParents and T.U.F.F. Puppy— Butch Hartman, creator of The Fairly OddParents and Danny Phantom, and his all-star team — story editor Ray DeLaurentis, art director George Goodchild, and producer Dave Thomas — present Nickelodeon’s new animated action/comedy T.U.F.F. Puppy, starring iCarly’s Jerry Trainor. Plus, you’ll get a sneak peek at what’s in store for Fairly OddParents as they prepare for the show’s 10th anniversary! Then, be the first to view never-before-seen footage of T.U.F.F. Puppy. Moderated by Stacey Kim, executive in charge for Nickelodeon. Room 24ABC

FOP on NetFlix
Title card for “The Big Problem!,” from season one, first broadcast in 1822
Okay, so I have no idea how long these have been available, and sorry for not mentioning it before (which would’ve been impossible, my not knowing they were available and all), but the first two complete seasons of Fairly OddParents are now streaming from NetFlix (seriously, when did this start?). This means you have at your fingertips more than seventy FOP shorts, along with longer cartoons including Abra-Catastrophe. What a sweet deal. Nick has put a bunch of its cartoons on the site for instant viewing, including Rocko, Ren & Stimpy, Real Monsters, and Angry Beavers. This is all good news (though if Chalkzone and Teenage Robot were available, it’d be even better news). You can start off your personal OddParents marathon by beginning with season one right here.
