MCA Management Awards in association with MT

The MCA Management Awards in association with Management Today were launched in 1996 to highlight the contribution of management consultancy to the economy and to society.

The Awards aim to identify the best case studies in 18 categories where a client, in the private or public sector, has achieved a significant improvement in performance with the assistance of a management consultancy.

The MCA, or Management Consultancies Association, was formed in 1956 to represent the UK consultancy industry to its clients, the media and government.

MT’s Britain’s Most Admired Companies
December 1, 2008, London

Management Today’s Britain’s Most Admired Companies awards are the UK’s business Oscars.

The winners are decided by the only judges that matter – the competition.

Professor Mike Brown and his team at Nottingham Business School take the 10 largest listed companies in the UK in each of 22 sectors, and ask them to rate their rivals in nine separate categories.

The firms with the 10 highest aggregate scores win an overall Britain’s Most Admired Company Award, while the highest scoring firm in each of the 22 industry sectors is also honoured.

Winners are announced at a invitation-only dinner for Britain’s foremost business leaders.
