What You'll Do
Assist partners in delivering statutory audits and accounts services to a diverse client portfolio.
Lead some large and complex audit assignments.
Plan and execute audit/accounts engagements in collaboration with the client partner.
Supervise, review, and mentor junior team members, ensuring timely and high-quality work.
Identify cross-selling opportunities and potential management letter points.
Manage client communication effectively.
Proactively monitor your chargeability and assignment budgets.
Coach other staff for improved performance and technical development.
Develop specialist sector knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Contribute to the training and development program for audit & accounts trainees.
What You'll Bring
ACA or ACCA qualification with significant post-qualification experience in a practice environment.
Experience in audit planning, budget preparation, risk identification, audit plan development, and on-site audit execution.
In-depth understanding of current auditing standards and approaches.
Experience preparing audit and accounts files using an electronic working paper system.
Strong IT literacy with proficiency in accounts and audit software.
Proven track record in preparing statutory company accounts under FRS 102.
Leadership experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills.
