President Biden’s comments on hurricane preparedness are from 2021, fact-checkers say

In August 2021, as the Delta variant caused COVID-19 cases to surge in the United States, President Joe Biden spoke during a press briefing about the intersection of natural disasters such as hurricanes and the coronavirus, PolitiFact reports. As Hurricane Ian approached the southwest coast of Florida this week, the clip of Biden’s 2021 remarks resurfaced on social media.
