Editor's Note

This is a recurring post, regularly updated with new information and offers.

After the successful launch of the personal Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card in 2021, Capital One began offering its business counterpart to the public in late 2023.

New cardholders can earn a 150,000-mile bonus on this card — for a hefty spending requirement.

Here's what you need to know about the Capital One Venture X Business and its current welcome offer.

Capital One Venture X Business welcome offer

New applicants can earn up to 150,000 bonus Capital One miles after spending $30,000 in the first three months from account opening.

TPG values Capital One miles at 1.85 cents each, thanks to the valuable option to transfer them to Capital One's 15-plus hotel and airline partners. If you can meet the spending requirement and earn the bonus, it's worth $2,775. That's almost unheard of for a travel rewards credit card and is the best offer we've seen on this card.

You also have the option to redeem your miles for a statement credit to cover travel expenses at a rate of 1 cent per mile. Even if you go this lower-value route, the full bonus is still worth an impressive $1,500.

It carries a $395 annual fee (see rates and fees), which is more than offset by an annual credit and anniversary bonus miles explained below.

Bottom line

If you're a small-business owner whose business spends enough to earn the welcome bonus, the Capital One Venture X Business gives you the potential to earn tremendous rewards. But if your small business has fewer expenses, you'll likely want to go with the personal version of the Venture X or another of our favorite business credit cards.
