May 2024 – With Royal Caribbean’s upcoming Utopia of the Seas, the ultimate short getaway, playtime for the kids is also taken to the next level. The Utopia Playscape is among the lineup of dedicated places and experiences for young adventures, and it features a 39-foot-tall climbable lighthouse, three dry slides, a ninja obstacle course and buoy swings.
May 2024 – Royal Caribbean’s new Utopia of the Seas sets sail to the open ocean for the first time to begin five days of testing. The sea trial, one of the final construction milestones, comes 10 weeks ahead of the ultimate short getaway’s July debut in Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida.

April 2024 – Royal Caribbean and The Bahamas broke ground on the cruise line’s new Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in Nassau, The Bahamas. Opening in 2025, the first in the Royal Beach Club Collection will debut a memorable Bahamian beach day for vacationers and a unique public-private partnership in which Bahamians will own up to 49% equity.*
