Most pill boxes we've used in the past, you have to lift up or pull them open. Because of her age, she has a hard time getting her fingers underneath the tabs in order to open the box.
This pill box makes things a lot easier. You push down on the tab and the lid pops up in order to retrieve your medicine. It is really convenient and helpful for her.
Plus, having the two rows, one for AM and one for PM, helps keep all of her daily medicines well organized. The writing on each compartment is written out in a font that is easy to read as well.
The compartments are deep enough to hold quite a few pills. And, I like that you can keep the two weekly rows pair together in the tray or you can take them out and use separately too.
A little bulky if traveling but, because you can separate each row, you can take apart for easy storage.
Considering all of these factors along with a more-than-fair price point, I would recommend for personal use or if you're caring for an elderly family member.
