XXII World Congress on Safety & Health at Work
Toronto, Canada, 4-7 October 2020
Prevention in the Connected Age
Global solutions to achieve safe and healthy work for all
The theme of the 2020 World Congress is Prevention in the Connected Age: Global solutions to achieve safe and healthy work for all. The Congress will focus on three main topics:
- Innovations in Addressing Longstanding Safety and Health Challenges
- Implications of the Changing World of Work for Occupational Safety and Health
- Advancing a Culture of Prevention
The Congress programme will explore innovations in addressing longstanding safety and health challenges and will consider the implications of the changing world of work for workers, employers, regulators, researchers, and OHS professionals. And the Congress will emphasize the potential of strong cultures of prevention to advance the global movement to eliminate the causes of work-related injury and illness.
Rising to the challenge of achieving safe and healthy work for all will call for creative and courageous efforts. The Congress will serve as a meeting place for experts and decision-makers from all over the world to exchange views and experiences, best-practice examples and recent findings. The Congress will provide opportunities for participants to exchange knowledge, make connections and establish new acquaintances and future collaborators.
Abstracts can be submitted in English or French between September 15, 2019 and December 15, 2019 and will be reviewed by national scientific advisors. Detailed information on the submission of abstracts will be available on the Congress website in early September 2019.
